Legal Auditor The candidate will assist in the auditing and review of legal invoices, toxic, environmental and mass tort matters. Review and code legal invoices for adherence to clients' guidelines. Review insurance company, defense firm and plaintiff firm files for financial, exposure and other relevant data. Conduct analysis and author reports summarizing findings of the audits. Discuss findings of audits and negotiate settlements with insureds, insurance companies, and/or defense firms. Research legal and factual issues as instructed by the Vice President. Law degree required. Must have 2-3 years experience in an insurer/law firm environment. Should have familiarity with legal terms and billing. Must have legal writing proficiency.
