Pay employees what they are worth. Happier employees make much better lawyers. Having high standards is fine if you if you make it worthwhile for associates.

Pros : You get to interact with clients quite a bit and gain court experience as well. It is a good learning environment.
Cons : The work and life balance is awful. The billable hour
