Employment Litigation Attorney (Part Time) The candidate will investigate and respond to charges brought before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or other federal, state, or local government agencies. Research applicable law. Prepare administrative position statements and supporting materials. Maintain the status of all proceedings in Holiday’s risk management information system. Handle requests for additional information and other communications with administrative agencies. Conduct informal settlement discussions with administrative agencies. Participate in fact-finding conferences and other administrative hearings. Attend mediations and conciliation meetings with charging party and agencies and attempt resolution of administrative claims under supervision of General Counsel. Assist with handling other employment claims and litigation as necessary. Other tasks as assigned by Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Must have 3+ years’ previous experience investigating, monitoring, and responding to charges brought before administrative agencies. Preferred industry background: hotel, senior living, hospital. Should have JD degree from accredited law school.
