3-7 yrs required
Labor and Employment Litigation Associate The candidate must have 3-7 years of experience to join a national management-side labor and employment practice. Should have extensive familiarity with federal and state employment statutes and extensive employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour collective and class actions and employment contract cases. Should preferably have 4+ years of litigation experience including developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently. Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial. Must have strong academic credentials. Admission to practice law in New York is mandatory.
