Litigation Support Case Manager Under the direction of the Director of Litigation Support, the candidate will provide advanced support to the firm's clients and case teams. Assist litigation teams in a fast-paced environment with discovery, trial, and general case management aspects of large, document-intensive client files. This is a hybrid role requiring advanced eDiscovery skills including familiarity with document review platforms and workflows, as well as the disputes lifecycle. Proactively work with the Litigation Support team to oversee the document collection, review, and production lifecycle serving as the liaison between the Litigation Support Project Managers, vendors, and the Case Teams. Work independently on medium to large sized/complex matters, and works closely with junior and senior members of the case team. Responsible for overseeing, coordinating and tracking project progress and workflow from inception through trial. Conduct training on eDiscovery and matter management tools. Serve as point of contact for case teams to work with Litigation Support Project Managers to plan and execute electronic discovery through the litigation lifecycle. Oversee multiple litigation projects and ensure quality and success through actions. Deep knowledge of each individual matters including discovery strategy and progress against strategy. Consult with case teams regarding best practices for document management, electronic discovery, and matter workflow. Full understanding of discovery deadlines including document production deadlines and requirements, deposition preparation, motion practice preparation, and trial. Communicate with case teams on discovery management issues, such as budget status and production planning. Report to case teams and management on project status. Track all data points for discovery management. Primary responsibility for overseeing document review and coordinating with document review Project Manager and Litigation Support Project Manager. Assist lawyers with preparation for Rule 26(f) conferences. Assist attorneys in preparing for client IT interviews and create questionnaires. Track and analyze incoming client data. Design coding layouts and document review workflow. Oversee and coordinate vendor work particularly regarding document review and production. Juris Doctor - barred attorney required. 6+ years of experience working with and managing electronic discovery projects at an AmLaw 100 Law Firm or Big 4 Accounting/Consultancy required. Thorough knowledge of leading eDiscovery document review platforms including Relativity required. Experience training users on firm applications in class-room setting preferred. Thorough knowledge of designing workflows, coding panels, and organizing data for review required. Experience: with document review accelerators including ECA tools, and TAR, Continuous Active Learning Models, Visualization Tools, TimeLine and StoryTeller tools; with government investigation matters and managing data deliverables; managing cases across multiple offices, domestic and/or international, on large matters required. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills required. Superb written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and vendors required.
