Litigation Attorney The candidate must have: Superior academic credentials. California Licensed Attorney. 10+ years’ experience and strong research and writing skills. Employment/ Consumer Class Action experience is a plus. Experience with handling all phases of complex commercial and civil litigation matters. Significant experience defending companies in California state and federal courts. Extensive experience drafting and arguing motions. Has taken and defended numerous depositions. Able to provide risk management advice to companies. Strong communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge and coordinate the completion of projects by junior attorneys. Excellent research, writing and analytical skills. The ability to prioritize and to work independently. A portable book of business is preferred, along with the desire to continue the growth of their practice.

Do some kind of formal performance evaluations. Clearly lay out the path to becoming a partner or at least getting a raise. Show some actual leadership.

Pros : Everyone who works here gives 110%. There are no slackers here. The support staff is excellent. You gain good experience here.
Cons : The concept of communication is completely foreign to management. There is almost no chance to be promoted. We never get any feedback on how we are doing.
