Seattle office of our client seeks litigation attorney with 3-5 years of creditors default experience including litigation, foreclosure, evictions and/or bankruptcies. The candidate will manage a portfolio of cases in various stages of the foreclosure, eviction and bankruptcy processes. Review and respond to all incoming correspondence and filing of first legal action, judgment, sale and reporting sale results timely to avoid any penalties from the investor. Prepare for and attend hearings and mediations, either in person or telephonically. Maintain time records for client billing purposes. Obtain fee approval from clients. Update case status daily in internal tracking systems and in client tracking systems. Manage assigned paralegal(s) performance and ensuring they are executing tasks timely, and accurately, including updates on client system of records. Should have general understanding of employment, corporate and litigation matters. Must be licensed in Washington and in good standing. Preference will be given to candidates with Oregon and/or Idaho licenses.
