Assistant Attorney General The candidate will join the Tort Litigation division to represent executive branch agency personnel in employment matters, as well as to prosecute professional licensing violations before various state licensing boards. The position involves litigation before hearing officers and in court, legal research, and writing formal and informal opinions. Represent executive branch supervisors in the employment law/personnel arena. Defend personnel actions in contested case proceedings. Defend agencies charged with unlawful employment action, including discrimination. Provide legal advice and counsel in the investigation of complaints filed with state licensing boards. Prosecute contested cases involving license suspension and revocation. Conduct legal research and compose formal and informal opinions. Must have experience with employment law or professional licensing.
