Legal Assistant The candidate will maintain accurate corporate records, including minute books and corporate seals. Manage corporate compliance for US and international subsidiaries, including filing annual reports and other documents. Maintain efficient filing of electronic and physical files. Track and send contractually required notices/reports. Track all contractually required product enhancements and service level requirements. Perform initial research on a variety of issues affecting the business. Support collections (e.g., investigate bankruptcy claims, prepare release forms). Manage insurance policies, including filing insurance claims, compile information for applications and liaise with insurance brokers. Manage Contracts Repository and Contracts Database. Coordinate legal document processing and internal approvals. Assist in the tracking of the legal department budget using Excel. Build relationships and manage billings department at engaged outside law firms. Issue and manage litigation hold memoranda. Create PowerPoint presentation materials and other document preparation. Assist with legal department meetings, including taking minutes and tracking projects. Assist with and track Intellectual Property registrations. Assist in process-related improvements. Share miscellaneous responsibilities with other administrative support staff. Must have Bachelor’s degree. Should have 0-2 years of experience in administrative or legal assisting role. Working knowledge of legal concepts and agreements is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
