Paralegal/Operations Assistant
The candidate will be an organized self-starter comfortable assisting the legal department with significant legal matters while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of San Francisco office. Will be responsible for providing direct support to the company’s legal counsel while working on many exciting legal issues to assist with global expansion, managing office operations, creating office processes, and providing support to other team members as necessary. Duties: Perform substantive research on cross-border legal issues; File corporate and legal paperwork with the appropriate government authorities; Prepare company’s standard contracts for execution and manage our electronic document signing process; Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment and make sure that these are kept properly and securely; Research and track schedules for licenses, renewals, and other compliance requirements for the business; Create and maintain systems for filing pertinent legal, financial, and other corporate documents; Provide support and assistance for all local events, including logistics, working closely across departments; Perform other legal and operational tasks as required.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. Paralegal certification from a nationally recognized program is required. Should have 1-2 years experience assisting attorneys in a law office or corporate environment. Preferred: Working business competence in a language spoken in one of our other offices - German, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Korean.
