Paralegal - Trademark The candidate will handle large volumes of work associated with each client. Will prepare, file and prosecute foreign and domestic trademark and copyright documents; record trademark and copyright assignments; conduct legal research using online search engines; maintain and review the IP docket; prepare and file domain name applications and renewals; draft correspondence; review Official Gazette; perform factual investigation and summarize information for attorneys and clients; and accurately capture and record time entries on a daily basis. A Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate and previous law firm experience is preferred. Must have 2+ years of law firm experience in trademark prosecution. Patent prosecution experience is a plus. Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, Access, CPI and/or IP Manager and other data entry applications and programs. Flexibility for overtime is a must.
