Legal Assistant The candidate will provide administrative support and project management to the Vice President and General Counsel, as well as other members of the Legal and Compliance team. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support including calendar management and meeting logistics, answering telephones, scanning and copying, and preparing correspondence, spreadsheets, and expense reimbursements. Update and manage contracts database and other legal files. Assist with preparation of agreements, legal and Board-related documents, and forms, including coordinating signatures and gathering information. Review and process invoices from law firms in accordance with billing guidelines and law firm engagement letters. Handle communications and requests to insurers. Work on audits and other compliance related projects, including document review and production. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelors Degree preferred. Paralegal certificate or training as legal assistant preferred. Must be, or be qualified to become, a Notary Public. Should have 3-5 years of in-house or law firm work experience.
