Contracts and Compliance Administrator Duties: Reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating contracts and contract modifications to achieve acceptable levels of risk. Providing advice, recommendation and interpretation of contract terms, obligations and risk exposure to business stakeholders. Investigating facts surrounding contracts to support next steps in contract approval and disputes. Understanding, communicating and reinforcing the contract process and procedures. Managing the contract life cycle for expiration, cancellation, termination and renewals. Maintaining standard templates approved for use. Managing post-signature activities. Resourcing and implementing new contract management process and system. Configuring system to provide solutions for various department and operational needs. Managing the contract database for accuracy and completeness. Tracking non-standard contract exceptions. Handling general contract inquiries from business stakeholders. Provide regulatory, compliance and corporate support to legal department.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelorâ€™s degree in business or related major preferred. Paralegal certification preferred. Experience with contract lifecycle management systems preferred. 3+ years of contract administration experience in a fast-paced company; experience within a software/SaaS/technology environment preferred. Desire to learn the business and drive improvements in efficiency and speed of execution. Keen business sense and understanding of standard contract and legal terms. Common sense and great judgment; problem solver. High integrity and ethical standards. Ability to identify required improvement to established contract process policies & procedures and to communicate implementation procedures to others. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment, and exceptional follow through to meet deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product. Self-motivated and self-starter with a process-oriented working style, delivering high energy and enthusiasm. Ability to work independently while also being a strong collaborator. Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and presentation skills. Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities. Strong analytical skills and organization skills.
