Loan Closing Coordinator Duties: Processes documents for various commercial and consumer loan products. Will be responsible for reading and reviewing loan approvals, compiling a due diligence “needs” list according to Bank credit policy and loan type. Engaging third party vendors for required reports, reviewing third party report to ensure compliance with policy, engaging attorneys and reviewing loan document to the approval terms and conditions outlined in the loan approval, preparing documents and coordinating loan closing with the customer and lender. Accountable for all pre-closing and documentation functions, post approval.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of 4+ years of professional experience. 2+ years of prior experience with commercial and/or consumer loan products, loan structures, and/or loan documentation. Paralegal or legal experience in transactional work a plus. Proficiency in Laser Pro loan origination software is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise correspondence. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common and complex commercial and consumer loan documents. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications. General knowledge of loan accounting and general ledger procedures.
