Paralegal Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparation for closings, hearings, and trials. Investigate the facts of the assigned matter to insure that all relevant information is considered and included. Identify appropriate laws, judicial decisions, legal articles and other materials relevant to the assigned matter. Prepare written reports, to be used in the determination of how a case may be handled. Draft pleadings, motions and other documents on behalf of the attorney. Organize and track information and files. Monitor and review government regulations for changes. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor's degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies, preferred. 2 + years litigation experience, preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task. Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
