Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will work under the supervision of the supervising attorneys and provide support to the Real Estate group and other attorneys throughout the Firm. Will assist with title, survey and lease review. Prepares/Assists with correspondence between each participating party, such as the client and title companies, lenders, surveyors, appraisers, etc. Prepares/Assists with comprehensive and detailed title and survey objections. Generates and reviews closing documents. Drafts reviews and coordinates the execution of commercial contracts and leases, with attorney oversight. Assist with status reports and lease abstracts. Maintain electronic and hard copy matter files per firm procedures. Consistent follow-through and ability to balance priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Assist and/or attends client meetings as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: 4 years' experience in Real Estate and High School Diploma. 4 year undergraduate degree, preferred. 3-5 years' experience and exposure and real estate matters as a paralegal. 3-5 years' experience reviewing titles and surveys, required. Must have a paralegal certificate or complete a paralegal certification within a designated period of time. Must type 55+ WPM and have exceptional computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Software. Experience working with various practice and case management databases (iManage) and timekeeping and billing systems. Must possess excellent English communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret information and must be able to maintain confidentiality Exceptional communication, customer service, organizational, time management and detail oriented skills, required. Ability to review and organize client records. Must have an analytical and logical mind. Must be a proactive, team player and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
