ProfileSenior Paralegal - Litigation Responsibilities: Will provide assistance in all phases of discovery, including assistance with the filing of briefs and motions, document productions, deposition and trial preparation as well as file maintenance and monitoring the docket. Prepare discovery responses, create related exhibits, and prepare exhibits for pleadings. Perform cite checking, redact documents, prepare privilege logs, prepare witness binders for depositions and trial. Prepare subpoenas regarding fact and expert witnesses. Process litigation files from initiation of lawsuit through trial of case. Conversant in best in class litigation technology and how to best to leverage appropriate technology(ies) in a litigation matter. Providing trial preparation, in courtroom and post-trial support. These duties may be ongoing or ad hoc in nature. Performing other duties as may be assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: Paralegal certificate. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. 7-10 years' of litigation experience. Experience must include processing litigation files from initiation of lawsuit through trial of case, with special emphasis on electronic discovery, legal research and trial preparation. Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Proficiency in Relativity and Adobe Professional is highly desirable. Must be able to work in a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to Provide excellent client service skills.
