Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work closely with Litigation Attorneys in managing personal injury cases for clients. Responsibilities: Addressing all aspects of discovery, including drafting responses to interrogatories, request for admissions, request for production, and drafting supplemental discovery. Preparing and filing motions. Assisting in trial preparation such as trial exhibits, charts, trial notebook, voir dire, jury instructions, verdict forms, and subpoenas. Managing attorney calendar including scheduling meetings and appointments. Analyzing reports including damage summaries, medical expenses, lost wage summaries, and property damage assessments. Obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records. Preparing, calculating, and maintaining damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage. Preparing and forwarding medical records to insurance carriers and defense counsel. Communicating and corresponding with clients regarding case status. Preparing check requests, maintaining check records, and mailing checks to vendors. Preparing disbursement summaries. Logging daily mail. Should have Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, and/or relevant work experience. Must have Articulate, organized team player with excellent grammar and writing skills. Must be highly proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Needles Case Management software is a plus.
