Legal Secretary - Intellectual Property Responsibilities: Support Intellectual Property attorneys and paralegals in connection with all aspects of the case management of trademark and patent matters. Transcribe, type, proofread and finalize documents, correspondence, memos, reports, addresses as per firm policy or instructions from legal staff. Copy large volume of documents, memos, reports and other materials as required. Maintain and enter time charges into the billing system as required. Update calendars, schedule meetings and conferences; other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years administrative assistant experience. 3-5 years of Intellectual Property experience. Exceptional technical skills required, including knowledge of MS Word and Adobe Professional. Strong organization, communication and client service skills. Detailed orientated, excellent grammar and speaking skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Occasional overtime.
