Document Production Specialist/Troubleshooter
Responsibilities: Create and edit legal documents to client specifications using applicable software. Convert, clean, and modify documents to/from different file formats. Use document comparison software, red-lining, and general editing to correct legal documents as directed. Produce spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, presentations, and other documents as requested. Recover & restore corrupt document files when necessary. Assist operators and secretaries with problems related to MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, scanning, printing, PCs, and anything related to document production. Communicate pertinent information to troubleshooters on other shifts and to technical managers. Work with Information Services on problem-solving by supplying accurate documentation of issues. Execute and log all requests from attorneys. Keep track of workflow progress and current deadlines. Answer phones & questions pertaining to work requests or issues within the document production center. Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information. Communicate with supervisors regarding the status of document production requests. Adhere to the Firm’s policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred. 3-5 years of legal or financial document production experience required. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, including formatting documents with Styles, and generating table of contents & table of authorities. Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred but not required. Typing speed of 60 wpm is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment as an independent operator. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
Schedule: Evening Shift, 4:30pm – 11:30pm
