Claims Advocate Duties : The candidate will work directly as an assistant to an attorney handling VA Disability cases. Assisting the attorney with preparing legal documents, advanced computing within the firm’s case management system, daily contact with attorneys/staff/management.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate shall be and Associate. College Degree; Bachelor’s preferred, Associates degree also acceptable. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Strong client-service focus. Ability to multi-task, deal with a large caseload, and adjust to changing priorities in a fast paced environment. High level of attention to detail. Strong analytical ability. Ability to work independently. Average to above average computer skills.
Experience in the legal field is not necessary for this position. Individuals who have experience in any of the following areas have proven successful: medical records, mental health, professional writing, claims/case management. In addition, individuals who demonstrate a passion for helping others and a drive for lifelong learning are strong candidates for this role.
