ProfileAdministrative Specialist, GS-0301-07/07 Duties: The candidate will be administering, monitoring and controlling the full range of administrative, clerical and internal management support functions. Establishing, monitoring and maintaining internal administrative, clerical and information systems. Systems include, but are not limited to: correspondence management and control, files establishment and maintenance, directives receipt and distribution, mail receipt and distribution; receipt, screening and referral of phone, computer and personal visitors; internal processing of personnel related functions such as recruitment actions, training/employee development actions, audit report processing, travel processing. Ensuring that all internal processes, procedures and practices are established, operating efficiently, and providing the supervisor with information and support necessary for him/her to accomplish the functions of the Center. Performing and/or coordinating work done by other administrative or contract personnel. Monitoring use of Government wide commercial credit card to pay for small purchases with guidance. Resolving problems related to delinquent or overdue payments involving Government credit card users for both travel and purchase cards with guidance. Ordering items and paying invoices for field office. Resolving problems concerning procurement, payments and receipts with vendors, and the Finance Office in Kansas City with guidance. Performing Electronic Acquisition System functions (i.e. EASi, Pegasys, or other systems) for assigned field office(s).
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must have 1 year of pqe equivalent to the GS-05 level.
One full year of graduate level education.
A master's or higher degree, e.g., LL.B., J.D., LL.M., Ph.D., in a field that provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work of an Administrative Specialist.
Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the baccalaureate level is fully qualifying at the GS-7 level.
A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education as described in "A" and "B" above that, when combined, fulfills the requirements.
