ProfileLegal Counsel Duties: Act as a primary commercial counsel for Americas’ business and will be instrumental in negotiating commercial transactions with leading global enterprises. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree, Massachusetts and/or New York Bar. 5+ years of experience in practicing commercial law in a global high-tech company, preferably software/cyber-security. Proven experience in commercial IT transactions (software licensing, cloud-based software solutions, software and hardware resale and distribution agreements, OEM transactions, maintenance and support, professional services and consulting in the IT domain etc.). Strong interpersonal skills, team player and leader, experience working in cross-cultural environments. Business oriented, ability to think strategically and establish a “trusted advisor” relationship with internal clients. Outstanding negotiation and persuasions skills. Creative and pragmatic thinker, responsive and proactive. Deep understanding of the business, technical, legal and financial aspects in contract negotiation and actual performance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; motivated self-starter.
