Strategic Partner Manager The candidate will contribute to the partner management strategy across all Global Product Partnerships (GPP) product areas and contribute to the overall global partner management strategy for GPP. Will provide thought leadership on firm’s relationship management strategy across product areas and regions, working with leads and other cross-functional Strategic Partner Managers (xPA SPMs) to define and implement Global Product Partnerships' (GPP’s) approach to partner management. Be the GPP point-of-contact for new initiatives that transcend traditional product areas that require GPP top strategic partner participation and lead internal cross-functional efforts to identify and solve any roadblocks (internal or external). Collaborate across GPP and other cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, gTech, DevRel, Marketing, and PR/Comms) to execute partner management initiatives and activities in North America and globally. Maintain a deep understanding of firm’s competitive landscape, emerging business trends at the global and regional levels, identify emerging disruptors, and ensure all stakeholder awareness, as necessary and appropriate. Establish an identity as the principal and accountable GPP internal interface to GPP strategic partners for internal cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, and maintain strong direct relationships with GPP strategic partners.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have MBA, MS, JD degree or other advanced degree. A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience needed. Should have 8 years of relevant work experience. Industry expertise in data licensing, local/maps data, local experiences, API/platform integrations, voice interactions, and/or ride services needed. Deep understanding and experience in all non-transactional elements of partner relationship management including: operations, account management, business/product engagement cadence, and legal and conflict-based situation management, such as partner litigation, policy negotiations, and disputes needed. Should have business and relationship skills (e.g. partner management, leadership, strategy, and analytics) with top strategic partners across a range of product areas and geographies and be exposed to multiple (internal) functional disciplines (e.g. product management, engineering, business development, policy, operations, etc).
