IT Business Office Senior Manager The candidate will build and maintain a business office which will increase efficiency, save money & time, implement purchase governance, provide input to business decisions, optimize IT budgets and deliver quality service. Must also understand contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure that contracts match IT spend in support of running IT as a business. Strong relationships with legal, sourcing, finance and IT partners are critical and necessary for success. Design, establish, maintain and enforce policies, standards, processes and templates to manage the lifecycle of purchases and gain value from optimization of IT Shared Services spend. Classify, rationalize and optimize the spend. Evaluate, recommend and deliver improvements for IT spending and savings opportunities. Establish and maintain clear metrics across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiencies in IT spend. Create, consolidate and communicate detailed reports and key data to stakeholders related to current spend and opportunities to reduce spend. Design, build and maintain a proactive approach to governance for IT spend management. Foster analytics-driven decisions based on data. Develop and maintain IT spend scorecards and dashboards that present relevant data tailored to each audience. Address billing issues and disputes. Provide financial viability, business continuity, and corporate and regulatory compliance as it relates to purchases and associated billing. Research, design, manage, maintain and regularly report IT Benchmark data. Oversee and manage contract with third party provider for offshore resources including governance, on-boarding/off-boarding resources, and demand management. Manage program managers and other employees. Oversee through governance and process all IT Shared Services purchases and invoices. Provide appropriate support/training to internal staff. Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 4 year college / university degree. Advanced degree is preferred: MBA/J.D./PhD. Experience: 5+ (Senior 7+)years of IT experience with a Bachelors; 3+ (Senior 5+)years of IT Experience with a Masters; 3+ (Senior 5+)year of experience providing work direction and leadership to people and teams. Should have strong technical experience in infrastructure, application software and hardware products and services. Must have background in vendor management, strategic sourcing, finance or IT. Proven track record of successfully managing IT business areas is needed. Should have strong financial background. Experience working with relevant regulations in IT industry is needed. Experience working with and influencing business executives is preferred. Should have strong communication skills, including with employees, clients, senior management and vendors.
