Principal Attorney - Business Immigration The candidate provides written and oral legal advice to clients. Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the organization. Works to ensure budget compliance and avoids the need for outside counsel. Ensures disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Should preferably have 5 + years of business immigration experience. Must have JD degree and member in Good Standing of State Bar. High School Grad / GED is required. Experience handling a full range of U.S. immigrant and non-immigrant employment-based matters such as EB-5, H-1B and other H visa classifications, TN, L-1A and L-1B, O-1, E-1, E-2, and E-3, PERM process, and audits of employees' Employment Eligibility Verification (Forms I-9) by the Department of Homeland Security and during investigations by the Department of Labor is required. Employment law knowledge and experience is a plus.
