ProfileDirector, Corporate Compliance The candidate together with the Chief Compliance Officer, will be responsible for ensuring Florida Health Sciences Center, Inc., and its affiliated entities maintain effective compliance programs through implementing written policies and procedures, overseeing and conducting general as well as role based training and education, managing and conducting internal monitoring and auditing for industry risks. Will expected to build and develop collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, while proactively monitoring investigating and enforcing standards, responding to issues and identifying opportunities for organizational improvement. Interviews, hires, schedules, assigns work, and evaluates the work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of company. Together with the Chief Compliance Officer, the Director of Corporate Compliance leads the development of an annual Compliance Work Plan outlining Ethics and Compliance department work activities for the upcoming year in collaboration with Internal Audit. Conducts an annual risk-based planning process to establish work plan priorities that includes consideration of current regulatory compliance focus areas of CMS, DOJ and DHHS-OIG and the input of key stakeholders. Allocates Compliance resources to areas of highest priority based on assessed risk. A Bachelor's degree is required. Graduate degree in Hospital Administration, Finance, Law, Accounting, Health Services Management, Information Management or Business is strongly preferred. Should have 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare compliance, finance, audit, administration, or operations, with at least five years of management experience.
