South Risk Manager The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of assigned market(s) Risk Management Program including to development, evaluation, and management of all aspects of the Program. Works in collaboration with the market operations leadership, the market quality management team, System VP of Quality and Patient Safety and Legal Counsel to mitigate risk; empower identification of actual and potential risk, reporting and mitigation; proactively identify and manage risks to improve patient care. Provides excellent service to all customers, meeting or exceeding their expectations, to ensure continuous improvement of customer focused environment. Requires valid Alabama RN license. Should have 5 years of hospital clinical experience. Must have 1-3 years of experience in hospital risk management. Bachelors degree in Healthcare related field from a four-year college and professional certification requiring formal education beyond a four-year college. J.D. or an advanced degree in Health Administration, Law or related field preferred. CPHRM preferred.
