ProfileSenior Counsel The candidate will oversee several businesses, including repackaging services and two private labelers, and to provide support for our distribution relationships with Brand and Generic manufacturers. Coordinate with the compliance and regulatory group to manage various compliance issues for U.S. Pharma. Manage outside law firms and various service providers. Monitor changing rules and policies that could impact the businesses. Active member of at least one state bar and 10+ years of experience providing legal counsel required. Extensive experience in the following areas: legal, regulatory and compliance requirements of a national health care company; provision of legal support in multiple jurisdictions and time zones; and project management for the implementation of new initiatives required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to research and manage changing legal and business requirements and make appropriate recommendations required. Experience in coordinating with multiple internal teams and managing outside service providers required. Experience within both a law firm and in-house setting, particularly regarding issues facing pharmaceutical manufacturers required. Healthcare regulatory background, with a focus on anti-kickback and FDA issues required. Government price-reporting knowledge required. Juris Doctor Degree with excellent academic credentials required.
