Healthcare Lawyer The candidate will advise on the interpretation of laws, regulations, and guidance related to federal and state healthcare law. Will execute on and tracks the operational requirements across the different jurisdictions in which Lyra Health and affiliated entities operate. Review and negotiation of contracts supporting the company, focusing on healthcare regulatory issues. Assists with legal compliance and the assessment of risk to the organization.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have practiced health care law for 3-5 years for a top law firm, received the JD degree from a respected law school. Must be admitted to the Bar (CA preferred). Must be familiar with the broad scope of health care regulations from a state and federal regulatory perspective for health plan and provider groups. Must have experience with HIPAA, health plan licensure, ERISA requirements, and the various requirements associated with it. Must have familiarity and experience with The Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975, that would be a significant bonus.The role is located in Burlingame, CA, near San Francisco Airport.
