Homeland Security Analyst - Immigration, Customs, and Border Security Operations The candidate will work on multi-disciplinary teams with in-house research leaders, applying quantitative and qualitative skills to analyze policy problems of national and international importance, and communicate the results of these analyses to decision-makers. Should have MA/MS in Public Administration, Criminology, or a related field, or a J.D. degree. Must have 2+ years of relevant professional experience in law enforcement or regulatory enforcement, or related research areas. Direct experience with either the US Customs and Border Protection, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, US Citizenship and Immigration Service, US Secret Service, Transportation Security Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Drug Enforcement Agency, or other major law enforcement organization is strongly preferred. Must have extensive knowledge and demonstrable ability to analyze or implement policies involving strategy, doctrine, operations, tactics, new technologies, or organization related to one or more of the following areas: Federal, state and local law enforcement; immigration enforcement, customs enforcement, and/or border security.
