ProfileEthics and Compliance Specialist Duties: Assist with the management of the intake, investigation and disposition of Ethics Hotline cases. Assist with departmental responsibilities related to case management system, the Ethics Certification processes and training. In support of assigned business units and/or functions, review Ethics Hotline allegations upon intake and ensure appropriate investigation and final disposition. Under the direction of the Director of Ethics and Compliance, plan, conduct, and oversee internal investigations, often partnering with field investigators and various subject matter experts (e.g., Internal Audit, Safety, DOT, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, etc.). Write and edit investigation summaries, ensuring appropriate documentation. Run reports using Excel and web-based Ethics Hotline case management system. Analyze data related to Ethics Hotline cases (and other sources of allegations) to identify risks, trends, etc. Assist with rollout of and follow-up to the annual Ethics Certification process. Assist with the development and delivery of ethics-related training. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Preferred: Previous experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigations. Previous experience in ethics & compliance, human resources or other legal-related fields. Previous experience in a corporate office environment. Requirements: Strong ethical background and commitment to integrity. JD Degree from an accredited institution. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on many sensitive issues. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong knowledge of Excel.
