Compliance Counsel Duties: Supports the Chief Compliance Officer to drive all aspects of planning and execution of Pall’s Compliance program, including internal investigations, audit procedures, training, and policy management. Working with CCO, conduct internal investigations and manage global internal investigations process. Drive data collection and analysis, review documents, prepare interview outlines, conduct interviews, complete investigation reports, ensure completion of remediation working with HR. Oversee in matrix environment other internal investigators on Corporate reporting requirements. Review all investigation reports to facilitate completed reports meet required standards. Drive KPIs/ investigation metrics to meet reporting responsibilities. Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed. Manage action plans in matrix environment following audits to ensure completion of remediation. Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews. Interface with business and functional units to ensure company policies and procedures comply with Pall’s Policy Creation and Approval Process. Draft Legal & Compliance policies for review by senior management. Draft communications of policy and train to policies throughout Company. Work with Legal & Compliance Department senior management to identify subject matter areas where training is required. Create training decks, scripts, and related programs for delivery to a global or targeted audience. Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures. Write, finalize, and facilitate the release of a monthly global communication from CCO. Identify topics, solicit ideas, edit articles for monthly communication. Assist CCO with ad hoc communications and presentations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher. JD Degree with 1+ year of compliance experience or 7 years of experience as a non-lawyer in a compliance-related role. 1+ years of writing and editing experience in a global business environment. Preferred: Experience creating and managing online and in-person training programs is strongly preferred. Policy writing experience is preferred. Working knowledge of SharePoint is preferred. Working knowledge of EthicsPoint is preferred. Experience working with LMS technology is a plus. Detailed knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to effectively multitask and work under tight deadlines. Strong ability to adapt to change and re-prioritize tasks and/or projects on short notice. Experience interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership. Experience working with attorneys in a fast-paced, demanding legal department or equivalent environment. Ability to communicate with associates across all levels of the organization. Ability to work and be trusted with confidential and sensitive information. Organized and detail-oriented. Creative and collaborative. Ability to work in a global environment with associates from around the globe.
