Senior Finance Analyst Duties: Responsible for administering all real estate functions supporting the Sales, Service & Marketing group in the Region (reporting to the Assistant Director of NA Real Estate). A key aspect of this role is to function as the Real Estate customer relationship manager to the Region with responsibility for portfolio management, leasing, acquisition, and disposition of dealership real estate within the Region. May also provide support for non-dealership real estate assignments and transactions, as needed. Travel, site searches, meetings with dealers and stakeholders, transaction strategy, adherence to timelines, support for business unit budgeting, and other real estate activities as required. Negotiate negotiates real estate contracts including business terms and contract language related to routine and complex real estate transactions directly with owners, buyers, sellers, dealers, landlords, and others and manages and oversees activities of stakeholders involved in the project including legal, environmental, consultants and brokers involved in the transactions or with the property. Ensures uniform delivery of real estate services consistent with GM Real Estate policies and procedures and manages the business workflow of corporate real estate documents and information. Making periodic presentations to senior management at the divisional and corporate level. Working with Public Policy and interface with local authorities relative to land use and permitting matters, entitlements, and other property use matters.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Economic development, real estate investment & development experience a plus. B.A./B.S. in business/finance/real estate required. Prefer MBA and/or JD Degree. Dealership real estate experience helpful. A diverse range of real estate experience of 5+ years including corporate real estate and local brokerage/tenant representation. Candidates should have the capability to lead projects involving internal stakeholders and external resources and be skilled in negotiations, financial analysis and a broad range of real estate matters including legal and environmental. Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships is critical to the position. Demonstrate strong business acumen, solid interpersonal and leadership skills, and be highly motivated, organized, creative, and success oriented. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
