Senior Manager, Senior Counsel Duties: Independently managing, including drafting and negotiating, a wide range of transactions, including transactions in support of the Company’s digital/mobile initiatives. Counseling and advising client groups, including providing legal advice on complex legal issues. Managing and coordinating outside counsel, when necessary. Implementing and monitoring repeatable, controlled processes for transactional work. Manage multiple transactions, take on new responsibilities and handle novel issues is critical.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree with admission to at least one state Bar. 5+ years of transactional experience as an attorney in a law firm OR 5+ years of transactional experience as an attorney in-house legal department OR 5+ years of combined transactional experience as an attorney in-house and law firm. 2+ years of experience in digital, mobile or technology transactions (ex: APIs, mobile apps, digital messaging, and software agreements). Preferred: Experience providing significant transactional support to clients in the financial services industry. Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently, manage multiple projects, make effective decisions and collaborate with clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to identify, lead and manage a negotiation team. Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail. Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
