ProfileAssociate General Counsel The candidate should have a Juris Doctor from an American Bar Association accredited law school. License to practice law in a state within the AgriBank district. 2 years or less of legal practice or related experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Working knowledge of real estate, banking, general corporate, credit, litigation and bankruptcy law. Working knowledge of the Farm Credit Act and FCA regulations. Working knowledge of agricultural and commercial lending transactions, business transactions, loan workouts and restructures, foreclosures and collection actions and civil litigation. Working knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations. Working knowledge of continuously developing case law. Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work independently in a timely manner. Skill in applying legal principles to individual cases and problems.
