ProfileAssociate Attorney The candidate will work on high-impact environmental cases representing businesses, cities, and other public agencies. Will play a very active role on cases, including conducting legal and factual research, all facets of discovery, interviewing fact witnesses and scientific experts, drafting motions, briefs, and other pleadings, as well as appearing and arguing in court. Will have substantive and front-line responsibility.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Strong academic background. Barred in the state of California. 1-5 years of litigation experience. Demonstrated analytical, writing, research, and client management skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong self-motivation, solid work ethic, and sound judgment. Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to take initiative. Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines. Commitment to environmental interest work. Preferred: Complex litigation and clerkship experience. Knowledge and background in environmental protection/pro-environmental matters.
