Environmental law, oil & gas law and / or toxic tort experience a plus.

No advice to the firm as that would be a waste of energy. But you, the person reading this, I have some advice for you. From one human to another, in case I haven't made my point, Do. Not. Work. Here. (Oh, and why are they still calling it Curry & Friend? The "Friend" already grabbed his valuables and jumped.) Anyway, save yourself.

Pros : Do not apply to work at this firm. After imploding earlier this year (brought on by multiple factors, including the two then-owners' narcissism and rock-bottom morals), the firm is now controlled exclusively by a person who has repeatedly proven himself to be a little Napoleon (minus the interesting clothes). They refused to tell their loyal, hard-working employees about the impeding split for weeks, and finally broke the news at a firm "lunch" (oh, and PS, you're not getting lunch after all, even though you've been sitting here hungry and waiting for us for 20 minutes). A select few ("the fabulous 14!") were asked to stay, and the rest were laid off with just a few days warning. But don't worry, while the cast-aways were crying and packing their offices, the "fab 14!" were attending a (mandatory) mid-day party celebrating their own good fortune. Woo hoo, Fireball! You can't make this stuff up, kids. And to be clear, the issues aren't temporary speedbumps associated with a "transition." This ish runs deeeeeeeeeep.
Cons : This box says "Share your reasons not to work here." Um, all of them. All of the reasons. Do not work here. This sounds dramatic and exaggerated. But this is actually just the tip of the iceberg. Save yourself, Rose.
