Boston office of our client seeks energy attorney with 3-6 years of experience. The candidate will be advising clients on energy regulatory and transactional matters. Should have experience appearing before state public utility commissions and providing compliance counseling regarding regulatory requirements applicable to energy companies. Experience assisting clients with regulatory requirements applicable to wholesale and retail energy markets; securing siting and permit approvals for energy projects; the purchase and sale of renewable and traditional energy-generating facilities; interconnection agreements; long term power purchase agreements; and administrative appeals are a plus.
