Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks energy attorney with 2-4 years of experience in advising energy companies, natural gas utilities/pipelines, electric utilities/generators, and energy marketers on regulatory and litigation matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, including ratemaking, market and market power issues, mergers and acquisitions, commodity trading, regulatory enforcement, and administrative litigation matters. The candidate must have experience advising on one or more of the Federal Power Act, the Natural Gas Act, and the Commodities Exchange Act. Must preferably have undergraduate or graduate degrees in civil or electrical engineering, finance, accounting, or economics, or those that have worked for electric or natural gas utilities or energy marketers.
