ProfileEmployment Law Associate The candidate will be responsible for handling employment law litigation on behalf of the clients. Providing legal advice and guidance on employment law issues, which include ADA, FMLA, wage/hour, EEO, corrective actions, employment compliance and other areas requiring legal counsel to avoid or mitigate risks. Attend hearings, mediations and other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate will be member in good standing of the New York State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. Must have 5-7 years of associate experience. Excellent academic credentials required. Knowledge of current ADA, EEO and FMLA and wage/hour defense. Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Strong organizational skills required.
