Patent Associate The candidate will assist with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patentability and clearance opinions, patent estate management, licensing and enforcement of patents for a diverse clientele. Should preferably have patent preparation and prosecution experience in the software, electrical or mechanical areas. Admission into a State Bar and registration with the USPTO are preferred. All technical backgrounds will be considered. Post-graduate scientific degrees are a plus.

Give people a chance to get raises instead of bleeding employees every few years when they leave for better pay.

Pros : This firm seems to have everything that you would expect from a decent firm without any real fluff to distract.
Cons : The pay here is merely average and you are better off leaving after a few years to raise your wages as you likely won't ever get a raise.
