ProfileElder Law Attorney The candidate will provide outreach and a wide range of legal representation and advocacy to victims of elder abuse, under the federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA). Will be jointly supervised by managing/supervising attorneys at their LAWM office and a Supervising CVLAP Attorney. In addition, be supported by a statewide expert in elder law. Although the CVLAP Attorney positions are grant funded positions. Should be licensed to practice law in Michigan or be eligible to waive in or to take the next bar examination. Should demonstrate a commitment to underserved populations - experience with elder abuse is ideal.
