Director, Risk Management- Card Business Risk Office (BRO) The candidate will play a critical role in preparing for and managing audits and regulatory exams. Lead a team of professionals and act as a thought leader working across the enterprise to develop and implement cutting edge risk management solutions to ensure company’s continued stability and success. Expected to drive organizational change to better manage risk in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded. Apply problem solving, collaboration and communication skills to provide advice to the line of business as well as lead initiatives to improve our risk management processes. Review, analyze and organize incoming regulatory inquiries and develop accurate and relevant responses by engaging the line of business as well as Compliance and Legal subject matter experts. Track the ongoing development of exam responses to ensure timely delivery to examiners. Integrate and aggregate exam responses into a cohesive, thorough and accurate representation of company policies, procedures, products and practices. Oversee and coordinate interactions among the line of business, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory staff. Monitor corrective actions and ensure appropriate and timely mitigation. Bachelor’s Degree or military experience and 5+ years of compliance, risk management, or government experience including 3+ years experience leading integrated projects or programs where senior leaders in the organization are the customers required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Masters Degree or Law degree (J.D.) preferred. 5+ years experience with the legal and regulatory framework governing the financial services industry preferred.
