Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of commercial legal matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, support for JV and M&A activity, and managing various corporate and compliance matters. Will be supporting for one or more business units within the division. Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Supporting for JV and M&A activity. Managing compliance matters, including supporting compliance with firm’s global Code of Conduct, the company’s FCPA program and similar compliance programs. Law degree from an accredited university and license to practice law in Texas is needed. Should have 3 - 5 years of experience either at a law firm or in-house context, preferably within the oil and gas or chemicals industry. International experience, particularly in the Middle East, the Caspian and/or West Africa is needed.
