Commercial Solicitor Duties: Responsible for aggressively growing the company’s commercial customer base. Performs outbound customer calling activities to solicit new customers. Initiates contact with selected potential customer base to present products/services and promotions in a designated market via telephone. Place outbound calls to targeted new commercial customers to present company products or services via telephone through cold calling. Generates qualifying leads by identifying needs of potential commercial customers. Obtains complete and accurate data from potential customers to assist in setting appointments. Identifies services/products that are specific to the customer needs in order to generate revenue. Manages leads by tracking and following up on them in computerized system. Reports leads to Business Development Reps and/or Customer Account Specialist.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: High School diploma/GED required. 6 months general sales experience. Telemarketing experience. Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows. Ability to generate sales leads. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Telemarketing Skills. Customer Service Skills. Organizational Skills.
