Legal Compliance Specialist The candidate will support company’s Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business. Will join the company’s Legal Regulatory Compliance team, which supports data center construction, operations, and compliance with a wide range of regulatory regimes, including products, environment, health & safety, and trade. Work will encompass a variety of tasks and include the development and implementation of compliance procedures, review of regulation obligations, and significant project management.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Requires a law degree. Requires current Colorado Bar Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Requires experience with and demonstrated commitment to affirmative action and equal opportunity. Requires evidence of a working knowledge in state fiscal rules and construction laws.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with administrative, legal and fiscal policies and procedures of the State of Colorado in general and the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education in particular preferred.

Closing Date: 05/25/2017.A Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of prior work experience or a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 2+ years of post-JD work experience. Preferred qualifications: Prior work experience with a law firm, corporate legal or compliance department or government agency. Prior experience in regulatory compliance including developing and implementing compliance processes and policies. Prior experience with project management. Prior experience with contracts management and drafting. Prior experience with regulatory filings and reports. Must Have strong prior work experience in a professional setting, a cooperative attitude, and excellent organizational skills; Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Be self-motivated and perform independent and team work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing; and Have great judgment, a sense of humor, and a desire to learn and be curious.
