Manager, Corporate Real Estate The candidate will be responsible for real estate portfolio planning for assigned business divisions and functions globally. This responsibility includes transaction management, lease management and internal policy compliance related to the assigned portfolios. Will work proactively with assigned Division leadership as well as with key corporate functions (Finance, Legal, IT, Security, HR) to understand their business requirements. Review real estate documents and negotiate changes to align with corporate standards. Identify opportunities where Corporate Real Estate initiatives can add value, and work collaboratively to develop specific implementation plans. Major Responsibilities: Develop internal network necessary to identify global real estate requirements; Implement acquisition and disposition strategies, processes and standards to meet business requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Participate in the legal review of real estate documents for M&A work. Negotiate business terms and legal documents relating to the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. Work with external legal counsel for various transactions. Manage internal customer expectations regarding service, quality and cost effectiveness; resolve internal and external conflicts as necessary. Ability to draft legal document and negotiate for select deals.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have J.D. degree from an accredited law school, preferably one recognized for graduating top lawyers. Top academic performance. Should have 5+ years of practice preferred. Experience with real estate negotiations. Experience with environmental matters in real estate leases and owned property. Major law firm experience.
