Director, Compliance and Corporate Responsibility Officer - So Cal Duties: Reviews, revises, develops and implements policies and procedures appropriate for managing the system-wide compliance function and that of the affiliates. Plans, directs, and enforces the system-wide Compliance and Corporate Responsibility Program (CCRP). Overriding mission is to detect and mitigate risk and implement and advance the program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Responsibility at sites for administering Compliance and Corporate Responsibility Program, ensuring the management of training, audits, investigations and ongoing oversight. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the designated sites and throughout the organization is integral to success.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Healthcare master's degree or JD Degree is preferred. 7-10 years of experience in a health care organization with experience in building compliance programs, including auditing procedures Clinical experience preferred. Must have demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards; understanding of coding, billing and reimbursement systems, and performance improvement helpful. Experience with physician practice compliance; knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, including the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act and HIPAA regulations; CHC, CHPC, CPC, or related certifications preferred; facility with Microsoft office, excel. ppt,, etc.
