Do you have experience in the formation of FAR and DFAR contracts?  Do the challenges of negotiating terms or performing risk analysis on major infrastructure or environmental programs appeal to you?  If so, you may be the perfect addition to our team.  Parsons is seeking an experienced Contracts Formation Manager. 

We really like people who can partner with business development, project and divisional management while negotiating terms and performing risk analysis on multiple pursuits concurrently. This individual will be responsible for managing all contract formation on assigned business segments; negotiating the most significant contracts or contract modifications and reviewing complex solicitations.  We expect our Formation Managers to evaluate new laws, regulations, and contract trends for potential impacts on business.  Ideally this person will have an A&E background and have experience with multiple delivery methods.  Experience developing Teaming, JV, LLC and other partnership agreements is required. 

The successful candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, be detailed and teamwork oriented, and have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of prime contract formation experience is required.
  • 8+ years of FAR / DFAR contract management experience. 
  • 5+ years within a large engineering or construction firm is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or a related field required.  Masters or Juris Doctorate strongly preferred. 
  • NCMA Certified CFCM, CPCM preferred
